All AIRS certifications are valid for 2 years from the date you pass your exam. To retain the AIRS designations after this period, you must pass a re-certification exam that reflects the latest tactics and strategies reflected in AIRS training.
AIRS alumni are under no obligation to re-take a training course to re-certify for an AIRS certification. Upon request, AIRS alumni are provided with a single attempt to take the CIR, CDR, CSSR, PRC and ACIR re-certification exams at no cost. AIRS will provide alumni a key concepts document that outlines the subjects covered in the exam as part of the re-certification process. To re-certify for the ECRE designation, the cost for the exam is $79.
AIRS alumni may attend SearchLab, Certified Diversity Recruiter, Certified Social Sourcing Recruiter, Professional Recruiter Certification or Advanced Lab workshops at a reduced rate to refresh your skills. Should you elect to re-take the course, there will be no additional charge for the certification exam. There is a four-week waiting period to re-take the exam after two unsuccessful attempts.
