CandidateStatements.com
Total Rewards Software will launch a new product next week, and it's aimed at facilitating recruitment.
Using CandidateStatements.com, employers create personalized total compensation candidate websites that highlight the combined value of compensation and benefits. That's right: personalized websites, as in for each candidate.
The one-to-one communication platform allows for delivery of financial information, along with employer messaging, company details, and community/location specifics.
For those inclined to dismiss the concept, figuring that compensation is part of an offer letter, consider that only a portion of compensation generally gets communicated. By also providing the total financial value of benefits, as well as the details surrounding benefits, CandidateStatements.com shows a candidate what a job is truly worth.
And what about company and community details that are also part of the tool? Arguably, the candidate has already seen a lot of this information at a corporate careers site or gained some insight during the interview process. However, this assumption may or may not be accurate. Even if a candidate has already obtained the information, it's more than a little likely that s/he doesn't remember everything.
These are reasons enough to share these kinds of specifics. But CandidateStatements.com does more than make sure total compensation, other offerings, and relevant details get conveyed.
There's a curious cumulative effect to putting all this information together. Providing a complete picture of financial compensation, including benefits and perks, right alongside positive aspects about the company packs quite a marketing punch. Add to this the fact that it's all delivered to a candidate as a personalized website and it's, well, one of those things you have to experience to truly appreciate--which you can, thanks to a demo that's available once the site goes live Monday, October 15.
CandidateStatements.com provides information related to the job's total value in a visually pleasing, easy-to-navigate format. The Welcome page introduces the site with a personalized letter. From here, the candidate can select Total Compensation, Health, Income Protection, Financial, Work/Life, as well as other information.
Selecting Total Compensation returns a page with four subheadings: Cash Compensation, Benefits, Total Compensation Value, and Other Valuable Benefits.
Cash Compensation details salary and any other actual pay. (The demo includes a signing bonus.)
The Benefits section provides specifics about the cost of medical insurance, dental insurance, Social Security, etc. The section features two columns. The first column lists an individual's contribution for each category; the second shows the employer's contribution. At the bottom of each column is a total.
Total Compensation Value then shows the combined value of direct pay and the company's contribution to benefits, both as a number and in a pie chart.
The final category, Other Valuable Benefits, details the dollar value of Paid Time Off (PTO), Holidays, and other compensation. (The demo includes stock options.)
CandidateStatements.com takes some of the best features of Total Rewards Software's TotalCompBuilder.com, which was designed for employees, and adds new features tailored specifically to candidates.
Among these features are audio clips of employees who speak to the value of the company's benefits. Using the software, a company can also include links to information about the external community and its offerings, highlighting the advantages of the job's location.
By providing a company with a platform to communicate all the components of pay and the value-added components of a job, Total Rewards' CandidateStatements.com has created a unique opportunity: A company can state its case as employer of choice at a critical juncture, while showing a candidate the total rewards of the job.
Total Rewards Software is introducing its new product with the slogan "Create. Educate. Hire." The slogan makes a straightforward yet powerful statement. In this regard, it's very much like the statement a candidate receives when a company uses this tool.
